3 Steps To Get Your MN Driver's License

Pass the Knowledge Test and Get Your Permit

1 – Complete a 30-hour Permit Class. Review pricing, dates and register for our Permit Class

2 – Pass the Permit Class final.

3 – Enroll in a behind-the-wheel program with a financial down payment of at least 1/3 of the total cost. You will arrange this when paying for the Permit Class.

4 – Schedule your Class D knowledge test at a MN exam station.

Practice and take lessons

1 – You must LOG 50 hours practice with a licensed adult over 21-years-old.

2 – When  you have practiced a minimum of 20 hours (of the total 50 requested), Schedule your first 2-hour behind-the-wheel session with us. We will schedule the other lessons during your first session

Pass Your Road Test & Get Licensed

  • You must be 16
  • Possess a Learner’s Permit for a minimum of 6 months
  • LOG 50 hours (15 nighttime hours) practice
  • Schedule  a Road Test online
  • Apply for license online
  • Proof of behind-the-wheel course completion (6 hours) is submitted by us. There is no physical card
  • On the day of your Road Test, BRING: your driving LOG, your permit, proof of car insurance, and a parent to sign.
